Helmet stolen

I often leave my helmet (at least my cheaper ones) on one of the mirror stems--- but wouldn't even think of riding my spyder to a high school football game!

Now with my expensive helmet--- it goes in the topcase on the rear of my spyder 90% of the time I park it.

A thief certainly would not cut the strap which would render the helmet useless !

A high school punk stealing it just to trash it most certainly would. nojoke

My 09 RS has 4 eyelets under the seat that could be used for anchoring a locking cable. But I use a Safeman coil cable lock.

It uncoils and is long enough to run through helmets, coats, etc. When coiled or retracted it's about 4" X 3/4". The cable is about 1/4".

Go to your local police dept and ask about a cable gun lock.

Helmet lock!

:agree: the gun lock around passenger handrails and fullface chin bar works great and lock stores nicely in pocket of trunk.
