• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Hello, my name is Joe and I'm a wuss

I have daycare duty Monday through Thursday, so Friday is the only day I can ride the Spyder 15 miles to work.

This morning it was 85 degrees with high humidity at 8 AM. I took the truck and cranked up the AC. :opps:

Joe shame on you I'm almost old enough to be your mother and I rode 150 miles Wednesday and at one point the thermometer on the Spyder read 107 and another 100 yesterday with temps around 95.

However, I will give you :2thumbs: for being man enough to admit that you are a wuss! :roflblack:

Ouch is right! Good thing we're pulling out of Iraq. The highest temp when I was there was 154 degrees, or so we were told, our outside thermometer only went to 140! Now that's hot, but I sure would have rather ridden a Spyder than walk!

We feel your pain. But the willingness to confess before others should help with your issue. :roflblack::roflblack:

In an effort to redeem myself here, it did make it up to 100 by 5 PM. :yikes:

On the way home, a thunderstorm rolled through and dropped the temps down to 75. I'm heading out for a ride.

Heat with no humidity

I know what you are going through minus the humidity. Living in Nevada I see temp of 100 plus in the summer almost everyday. I had met my wife for dinner and when I got back to the bike and turned it on it was showing a temp of 122 and only went down to 120 by the time I got home, approx. 15 miles. Its meant to be ridden so I ride it. Have fun.

:dontknow:

You know if you all would just stop looking at the thermometer the heat wouldn't bother you half as much,
It's all mind over matter , If you don't have a mind it doesn't matter.:2thumbs:

Hello..My name is Inda Rmee and..I just cant ride my Spyder when it's over 80 deg F. There, I said it! **clapclapclapclapclapclap** Glad you are here, Inda! Some of us are up to the mid-90s already!!

With that temp and humidity in the morning imagine what the afternoon could be this weather is no joke you know what your body can handle you made the right call for yourself.:clap:

Lucky for you all that you don't live in Augusta Georgia! It's been in the 100's every day since early May with 90 to 100% humidity. It will stay that way until late September. The good news is that my RS stays between 4 and 5 bars all day long at that temperature. It's a great machine! I try to ride all year and my issues are with the cold! When it gets way down to 60 degrees I really suffer:gaah:

I was at Ft Gordon from June through November last year. I don't know what it is about Augusta, but it has heat like I've never seen it before. The weather today in Ohio was just like that.

Hey Bro, I hope you know I was just pulling your chain, I support all branches of our military and have the utmost respect for all of them. Thank you for your service.

You are no wuss sir.

I hit the road late yesterday on my trip north out of Charlotte.... about 11:30am late thanks to my wife.

Anyway...I wish I had air conditioning yesterday. The heat was brutal. Spyder was being the normal grumpy machine she is when it is hot and humid....
