• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello from Sweden

Welcome to the Spyder World

:welcome: :congrats:
I have a BRP Comfort Seat with the Utopia backrest that I was able to install, which means it must be fairly simple to do. I put over 15000 on a real good looking custom Corbin seat, but it was not at all a comfortable seat, very hard seat. I took it back at 5000 miles and they rebuilt it for free which is a Plus for the Corbin if you are close enough to take you ride in. My next custom seat will be the Russell Day Long seat.
The Comfort Seat is a more comfortable seat than the Corbin was but for me it still gets rather getting uncomfortable after my first have to gas up stop at around 150 miles. By the second stop it is starting to get very uncomfortable.
As has already been suggested, ride it as is for a 5 or 6 hundred miles and make sure one of the ride is a 300 mile one day ride. Also keep in mind a lot of third party sponsors have as good, if not better add-on’s, than BRP and they can save you some cash. :2thumbs:
