• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello from Spain, I am a participant in the forum of our country and owner of an RS Spyder, usually visit this very interesting forum.

We recently reported the first and only Can-Am Spyder RS that has been burned. At the moment we do not know the reasons for the fire. This Spyder did not have any tuning except the exhaust (Leo Vince). Or at least that's what the owner says ...., well I think it's true.

I would like to consult you if you have new news in the U.S. about the possible reasons causing this fire. If BRP has reported this problem, although it is rare that we worry a little.

I attached a picture and a link (in Spanish):

Yep and since that post and report in 2009, they're still seemingly going up in flames from time to time. :yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes:

Unfortunately your spyder is not the first one to catch on fire . I did a search for" canister fire" because a few fires were thought to be caused by the evaporator canister from when the spyder gas tank was over filled while refueling. I am not an expert or mechanic for that matter and I know others will chime in. I hope my search helps you .
