There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hello from NC

Just ordered my Spyder yesterday thanks to my brother bugging me to no end about getting one.. By the way my brother is dbnc on the board if anybody knows his big mouth..

He is pissed off that we went and rode them yesterday and when I decided to get one they told me that there is a silver due in before the end of the month and the guy who ordered it couldn't get financed.. So I will actually have one before him..:yes::yes:

I was shocked that I actually liked it as much as I did.. I had vowed never to own a bike again after an accident in 2003 so when he kept telling me about this new bike/trike I told him he was crazy.. I thought he was crazy when he bought his M109 and knew he had completely lost his mind when he showed me a picture of the :spyder:..

Well once again he was right it is an awesome machine.. I borrowed his 109 on several occasions and never thought I would like it in the beginning but it turned out to be an awesome ride.. Now he has me buying a spyder and I think we will both enjoy them if he ever gets his (red)roflmao..

Looking forward to meeting some other :spyder: riders in the near future...

welcome and :congrats: on the :spyder:

That is kinda cold that you're getting yours first.

Welcome to the forum and to spyder ownership. Your brother has been a wonderful contribution to this board so don't pick on him too much. The real question is this, who is the big brother and who is the little brother. I have a guess.

I'll tell you but what would you guess???

My guess is that you are the "little" brother. If I'm right, let me know and I'll tell you why I thought that. LOL

welcome
WELCOME TO THE SITE AND HAVE A GREAT TIME ON THE :spyder:

Welcome! And, congrats! Mine officially is ordered today. My dealer mentioned that they had one order arrive in less than 2 weeks!

I need to get busy reading up on the TN motorcycle manual! I have to take that test! :)

You are both right and wrong but no way to really get it right... :hun:

Let me explain he is my evil twin.. I am older by 12 min but he is taller by 2 inches (6'4'' vs 6'2'') so I guess I'm the older Little bother..

This won't be the first time we've had the same bike but I never thought I would want to own another bike since the accident and 5 years is a long time not to ride since we've been riding over 20 years together..

Oh well after an hour and 40 miles I was sold hook line and sinker.. Now all I have to do is try to talk him out of some of the mods he already got stored in his garage since his wait will be a little longer roflmao...

I know it is going to kill him once the silver one arrives and he still is waiting on his NC State red to arrive..

Could barely sleep last night and now the next few weeks will be tough and to think yesterday morning I had no intentions of spending $16k on a bike I had never seen in person and thought was a silly concept.. Oh well goes to show you don't judge a bike by its cover..

My wife thinks my brother bullied me into doing this and she's happy because she knows I miss the time we spent riding but was worried about me being back on a b ike again after so long.. (BTW we are married to twins how weird is that.)

Thanks for the kind words Deb. You have to ignore my brother he tends to ramble sometimes. I really didn't expect him to put a depsit down yesterday I just wanted him to see it in persons and surprise he will be an owner before me that sucks but that's life..

Ona side note I definately got the better twin in the marriage deal.. 12 years strong and still going. They are only at 9 years and always playing catch-up. I always tease him and tell him his wife wanted me but since I was taken she settled for a similar model but we all know the original is usually better than a substitute.

To my brother: :congrats: & welcome

(It does suck that you will have your first :banghead: :cus: )

Twins!! That is great. That also explains why I thought you were the "little" brother. You had that nah nah, na, nah, nah, thing going in your posts. I am a "big" sister so I just figured you were the pesky little brother. But in true spyder lovers fashion I welcome you to our web welcome

Dude, welcome. Glad your brother talked you into it. I am in Apex if you want to meet up. Just got back from Myrtle, so not sure what is going on this weekend. Tell your brother to sit at home and wait..lol. Yo, Vinnie, looks like we have another one in town. 3 silvers will look good going down the road. :2excited:

:2thumbs: ... :congrats: on being an owner , as you have seen this site is a great place to find info !!! and Patches is right ... 3 silver Spyders rolling down the beltline will look good !!!

Vinnie 3 silvers and a red would look even better.. I will give you a call as soon as it comes in and I can steal it for a ride. He already knows that even though he may have his first I will ride it every chance I get.

Congrats Mr3Wheel. I was gonna suggest you "try out" all his mods / upgrades for him but I see you are way ahead of me. :D It's great to hear that you two will be able to ride together once again.
