Just wanted to say hello to everybody. I just bought a used 2008 Spyder RS off of e-bay. It should be here by Sun. or Mon. at the latest.

Anyway, I am new to the Spyder and will no doubt have questions for you all if that is ok. My motorcycle riding experience is limited but when I saw pics of the Spyder last year I just knew I had to have one and now my ray: have been answered lol

I'll post again when I get my ride hopefully on Sun. Here's to hoping I can figure out how to back it out of the trailer :roflblack:

I can't make the gathering today due to prior commitments but thanks for the heads up.

So far just been reading all that I can on here to make sure I am ready when the Spyder gets here. Seems I will need to call the guy I bought it from to make sure he has done all the "updates" and belt tension bulletin I read about :dontknow:

welcome Try reverse for backing out of the trailer...easy on the throttle.... and use ramps if trailer does not have a ramp door.:2thumbs:

It's here!! :2excited: lol

Came in last night so I only got to ride it home from the drop off site which was 7 miles but plan on riding a lot today :2thumbs:

It was a short ride but so far the only thing I need to figure out and sort of knew about from reading various threads is the issue with the heat on my right leg. I need to do something about that. I read somewhere on here that the 2010s don't have this issue due to a new design in the side panels, if so will the side panels for the 2010 work for an 08? An expensive fix but if it gets rid of the heat it may be worth it.

I really love this ryde though!!!! :2thumbs:
