• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Helibars or NMM risers

Both are very comfortable. NMN risers are easier to install and a bit cheaper. I also prefer the NMN risers as they are fairly adjustable and don't require relocating the ignition.

Did you check out the Kewlmetal ones?? I have there's and they are also very comfortable..Its just a matter of personal preference..larryd

Of course yours are the best I'm just bust'n b*lls... hey no free advertising on my blog
you can donate a pair of 4" risers so I can try them on my Spyder... I just didn't know which people preferred...If you want send a set to Steve.
I'll have Steve install them from Tricked out Cycles...Thanks NMM, what a guy
Motza homeless Spyder

Sure will do! :2thumbs:

Right after you send me 3 of those new $100 bills I can"try out" too. :roflblack:

I'll send out your 4" risers to "try out" as soon as you get the three $100 bills for me to "try out" here. :D

What no discounts to Spyderlover members?
How about 15% off? :ohyea:

Good one 15% off risers! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Ask Heli what their "Spyderlovers discount" is, why they won't even support this site as a sponsor!

It's nice to have a good laugh like this to start my day!

MM, Here is an idea for your new contest
Divide the country at the Mason/ Dixon line...East versus West... see who purchases the most product from your site, then give the winning side 10% off their next purchases.
nojoke :agree:

You do know the Mason/Dixon line was the line to divide the NORTH from the SOUTH in the Civil war right? :dontknow:

It's not an East/West line?

So Evan, do a contest from north to south / east to west...what ever
Yankee doodle...

Not at all but fair is fair...I'm not going to pay full retail as a Spyderlover..
Would you?

We are not just walking off the street into a retail store, and paying full list. We are a special family of enthusist. At least that why am writing in this blog...by the way -10% discount is nothing if your doing volume off this site.
I own a run a wholesale business in the jewelry trade since 1976
and always give discounts to trade members, and associates.
I rest my case.

Motza,
Give the poor man a break. He gives so much away in these contests and has major discounts when he puts together packages and those are only offered here on Spyderlovers. He has to run his business for goodness sakes. I think with the packages and give aways that NMN has already offered here, that is far more than any 10% discount. I for one am just glad he is around to offer quality products with superior service.

NMN Yes Yes

I didn't get any discounts and I believe that the prices are reasonable for what you get. I just happen to have a NMN collection of lights & risers.
The risers, so simple to install even a Caveman can do it, and comfort, WoW. They are great my dealer even liked them when I showed them, they look like they belong on the bike. They even mentioned getting a set to sell.:2thumbs:

+1 Our dealership is big on selling the BRP branded accessories but he does have a few sets of the NMN risers in stock to fill his customers needs where BRP isn't up to the task.

NMN in my opinion

I've purchase NMN mud flap lights, triple play and highway pegs. In my opinion they are top notch equipment. And yes... as soon as I can save up a few retirement dollars I'll have the 3 inch bar risers on her SE5:spyder2:. Being a retired DAV it may take a few months or so but I'll get there and it will be worth it.:ohyea:

Keep up the good work No Magic Neon.

I have the Helibars too. I think they are fine if you aren't too tall. My dealer didn't think they could be installed with the BRP 1" riser, so they removed that first. Helibars website says they can be used together. Who is right??

Anyway, the Helibars are perfect for me. I don't mind the ignition change at all. I do like that my handlebars stayed stock. I was able to put use the BRP bilet bar ends without cutting them shorter. They work great too!
