• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone installed aftermarket heated grips and if so what kind? Thinking of adding them on and wondering what kind of pain it is, I do have lidlox installed on bar ends but they come right off, sorry it's an 08 gs
thanks

Heated Grips

I had heated grips installed on my ST-S by my dealer and they have been well worth the money. I ride year round and I use them regularly below 55 degrees.

I installed "Heat Demon" grip heaters. Come with all you need to install except depending upon where you install the three position switch, you may need to supply some additional wire. Wouldn't be without them.

so you got the heat demon grip warmers with 3 position switch? i was just looking at them and although out of season right now i want to be prepared for those cold mornings

Pollyheaters. Capsules that fit inside the bars. Once installed they are completely invisible and work fantastic!
I'll never run anything else as long as I can get them inside the bars.

are they a snug fit inside the bars? i have lidlox for the bar ends and also have risers so just not sure if there would be enough room

Yes sir. They are pretty small, much smaller than the grips. I have bar ends (no risers) but they are nowhere near the edge of the grip. They are probably more like less than half the length of the grip. Easy to place and stay in place.
The instructions for wiring are horrible but a little Google searching is your friend for wiring.
