• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Heated grips instructions

Was wondering if someone who has installed the heated grips could scan and make available the instructions?

email, Google Drive, Box or what ever method of file sharing you prefer.

Thanks in advance!

I did but the instructions are in a file cabinet in Houston and I am in Boerne for the Hill Country Ride. If no one else has them for you by Sunday, I can scan them in for you. Was there something particular you wanted to know? They are not hard to install, connectors are already there.

That would be great and I'm in no hurry. I'm looking for the harness connector locations for the heater elements and also the switch part number. I'm going to re-purpose for other power needs since I really don't need heated grips here in Hawaii.

Like jcthorne, I'm 600+ miles from my copy of the instructions. They don't really locate the plug: it is tucked up inside the right panel: if you search the F3 section, there has been pictures posted of the location. I don't recall if the switch is called out by part number on the instruction. Have you tried to search the BRP parts section (brp.com) for the switch? I've found a lot of great information in the parts section.
