• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HEATED GLOVE - LINERS

Thank you for your input on my issue ........ Have you ever had Frostbite in your hands ... I don't just mean they've been painfully cold ... I'm talking Frostbite as determined by a doctor ..... if not not then you have no idea how painful Frostbite is and it's long term effects ...... and Merry Christmas ..... Mike

If you use the Mittens and pre heat them in the house and come in and change them when you start to get cold you will not get frost bite?
Or buy the battery powered gloves or Pay someone? merry Christmas!

FROSTBITE !!!!!!!

My concern is not GETTING FROSTBITE ...... I suffer from already having DONE THAT .... At temps below 15* F ( which is most of the time in Vermont ) holding a piece of metal ( and squeezing it ) my tolerance is about 10 +/- minutes.... Can you imagine yourself coming in the house every 10 min. to get WARM mittens ( while fully dressed, and now snowcovered ) .... I appreciate your efforts to help me, but as mentioned to another member ... unless you have been Frostbitten, you have No idea how quickly it " Forever " effects your tolerance for Cold temps ..............Mike:thumbup:

Heated grips again

Mike,

After reading this thread again -------- it sounds to me like a heated grip will work. You won't be holding on to a "cold piece of metal" but a hot ( warm ) one. The heated grips on my MTD are factory and work REALLY well.
