• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ride Forrest Ride!
I am in Fl and the weather has been hot,, 85-95 degrees, and I find my temp bars run 4-6...

I sure would like to know, temps for the bars and if I am running too hot at 5-6 bars. I have been given no notice on the console as to a heat problem.

Please advise.

Thanks

I am in Texas and consistently ride in 95+ degree heat, sometimes over 100. 4-6 bars and no problems. Both city streets and superslabs.

If you don't get an overtemp message on the console.....
why would you be worryed about it being to hot?

Mine runs between 3-6 bars most of the time, occasioanally 7 bars (and the fan comes on) in stop and go situations.

Never seen any overtemp message, even in stop and go at over 100f ambient air temps.

CT here, nowhere near as (constantly) hot as FL, and I'm running 4-6 bars. Cooler weather (50-60) I'm at 3-5 bars.

So, I'm not sure you're running any hotter than those of us in cooler climates.

I am in FL also and the temperatures in the Panhandle have been in the mid to upper 90's. Run at 4-6 bars usually; as soon as 7th bar shows the fan kicks on and it cools down immediately. Runs great; no problems. :2thumbs: :doorag:.
