• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Heard an SE5 rumor

I was told that on July 15th BRP is will stop making the SM5's for a period of time while they convert over to make SE5 models at the factory. If that happens everyone waiting should start seeing them soon
Good luck to all waiting

I actually hope the rumors are not so true......I don't want an automatic.........so if I order the manual one now I am going to have to wait until the automatic orders are filled???? That's not good.

That was my reaction, "boy glad I got mine when I did." I think they actually have a stock of units between what the people who were at the factory tour said and the fact that they seem to be coming in in about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks from the date of deposit

Crossing my fingers like everyone else...

While at the demo ride in Kansas City, the team had no idea when an SE5 would be in production. The ones used for the demo are pre-production. They had two SE5 (yellow and silver) and both were slightly different in some body style around the windshields but everything else looked same as an SM5.

Poor SpyderTeam... they have one official answer when you ask about anything being available. When's the red ones coming out ? (they had one at the demo) ... "Ask your dealer" When is the SE5 coming out? "Ask your dealer" It's safer, but frankly this team has been on the road since April working their way back across the countryside. One team member, matter of frankly gave the release date as November. (We know that information is outdated for sure!)

So Derwin, I'm really excited now, since I've ridden a Spyder SE5... My certificate number is 1 digit above yours, so I hope they go in order and I hope yours arrives in August!

Derwin... Are you sure you aren't the "Mole" Your information is making me un-bearable at home!

From what I remember someone saying about the factory capacity, they were only using every OTHER space on the assembly line.... so maybe a batch of SE5's and then some more SM5's won't be a problem if the step up the production to line capacity.

I'm not the "mole" that you've been talking about. What is a mole anyway? I'm just a guy who ordered a Spyder SE5 back in December, and can't wait to get it. I was given some information from a VERY good source about the SE5 delivery. All I can say is that I'll be expecting mine VERY soon, and I can say that the date on the certificates will be honored according to my source. Good news!

Derwin
