Headlight Burned Out

My right front main headlight burned out. Dealer did not have one in stock but ordered it for me. They installed the bulb and charged me for labor and $29.95 for the bulb.....I asked for the old bulb and later took it to my local NAPA dealer....he had several in stock @ $10.99 each.....lesson learned.

for all common parts like bulbs, fluids, filters, cleaners, brakes etc always check around. Dealers are few and far between and some have high prices. Don't know if it's them or their suppliers. But now you know..

part number? do they make a brighter (off road maybe) ? I have an 80/100 H4 on my 92 R100 and it's brighter than my spyders by far. how much was labor?

Anytime you get a common part from any Manufactures dealer, car motorcycle or boat, it's going to be more than a discount house. The added step and handling to repackage the product in the BRP, Ford or GM boxes cost and that cost is passed down to us. It would be nice to have a "Sticky" here on the Forum with cross referenced part numbers for wear and tear parts such as lights, tires,fuses and relays etc.

Everything BRP is expensive... it's not reserved for Can Am Spyders.

WHAT TIME FOR LABOR? My DEALER $6 for bulb & 2hrs labor @ $80.00 per hr
