There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are you in the 'For Sale by Owner' forum/section when you hit the '+ POST NEW THREAD' button? :dontknow:
The prefixes are forum/section dependent, and some forum/sections don't get any prefix options; so if you aren't in the correct forum/section area when you try to start your new advert thread, you may not get to see the little Prefix box above the Title field... In the 'For Sale by Owner' forum/section, when you first see the empty 'New Thread' screen, the Prefix box should be up the top left and it should show (no prefix) with a black 'down arrow' to its right - hit the down arrow to open up the selection box, then you might need to scroll down a touch to see the FS: option so you can select it. Hope this helps.
