• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have you noticed ?????

Prices been climbing here in Arizona. Interestingly, the price of fuel is between 30 and 40 cents cheaper in some of the smaller outlying towns. And there is no competing for business. They are ALL greedy and raise their prices in unison..... Jim

There have now been three removals of political references.

Rule number two: no political posts has been ignored.

Subsequent posts along the same lines will result in the thread being closed down.

From this point forward, political posts will result in infractions or worse. We have tried to be tolerant, but it does not seem to be working this go around.

I was in Albuquerque NM on Tuesday, regular at $2.45 and I had to stop at Chevron for super unleaded for Spyder at $3.45! Proud of their fuel! Going up everywhere, glad we get over thirty miles per gallon!

Only THREE bucks a GALLON!! Don't I just WISH we got it that cheap here in Oz!! nojoke

Of late, we've been paying over $1.50 PER LITRE; and at times it's hit $1.80/litre - and there's close to FOUR litres in every ONE of your Gallons!! :banghead:

I feel you! Seems Sweden and Australia have about the same price for gasoline.
It sure burns in the wallet every time I fill up a full tank in the car.

As of yesterday, our local gas prices were at $2.15 for regular. A month back, they jumped by .10 cents per gallon.

This was before any administrations changed and around the time of the Capitol unrest. I am thinking big oil was hedging their bets in case it really got out of hand.

To early to blame the current administration for this. They have more important fish to fry.
Sorry don't agree with you. Closing the pipeline down and relying AGAIN ON FOREIGN OIL. Your going to see prices climb to well past 3.00 a gallon. Don't want to make it political but a spade is a spade.

The price goes up, the price goes down, the price stays the same. It is what it is, use it or do without. Simple choice.

Not to be political, but my understanding from a few years back was that the pipeline was to get oil down to the coast where it would be put on tankers and shipped overseas. My mistake,
the pipeline was to replace oil imported from Venezuela with oil imported from Canada. But imported all the same.

2.35/gal in Central Utah today up from 1.97/gal just before the inauguration. 2.17 at Sam's Club but they are an hour away.

The real cost of gasoline has dropped significantly over the past 50 years. Inflation makes a dollar in 1970 about the same as $7 today. That means $0.40/gal in 1970 is about the same as $2.50 today. Factor in the increased mpg of cars today compared to 1970, or something like 30 mpg vs 10 mpg, and the real cost of gasoline is about 1/3 what it was in 1970. Do we really have room to complain?

Plus, the more foreign oil we use today the more of ours will still be in the ground when the foreign supply runs out, which it will some day.

All true. But, I think in current dollars, just like I think most do.;) I think if you ask someone if they would rather pay $2.50 a gal for gas or $2.00, what would they say?

When I say current, just to be clear, I mean currently in your wallet, whether paper or plastic.

The price here jumps just about every day. The station on the corner near me is 2.49 today, but I go a bit farther in the other direction to Sam's, where it is 2.14.

.

Same over here in Chillicothe area Steve. We have a farmers market on the west side of town that is always ten or fifteen cents cheaper and if in that area I will fuel up there. $2.49 has some folks complaining, but it was $2.89 here before the plague hit so I'm still saving 40¢.

Up and up------------

Fuel prices here in Nevada have gone UP in the last month +. I'm afraid there is no end in sight.
