• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have you experienced any Road rage incidents?

A few months ago a slow driver got mad because I went around him. He then pulled up next to me while we were still moving and tried to push me off the road. Once we were stopped, he pulled up in front of me to block my way. He just stared at me and said nothing. What a scum bag. I would say it’s close to attempted murder, all because he was mad. Drivers are very brave when they are wrapped in a steel cage. Not many would be without it. And he was a little guy. I saw a video of an Amazon driver plowing through a pack of big Harley dudes. Lets see him do that in a bar. Have you had any incidents?

I've had a couple of cars move into my lane without a lot of clearance, but no road rage incidents.

Years ago, when riding one of my many 2 wheelers I nearly became deeply involved in a "road rage incident". Long story short, I was highly enraged, and after I calmed down and could "see clearly," my outlook as a motorcyclist had to change. The offending cage driver truly did not see me. I was not as large as another vehicle, I didn't exist in the other driver's mind. So today, even though I have "eye to eye" contact with a cage operator, I don't trust that they are 100% aware that I exist. As a result, I try to be aware and have an exit plan for every situation, which is wishful thinking, possibly. So don't take for granted that you are visible to everyone.

I've had cage drivers act out after making a clean pass (even if it wasn't technically legal) and try some crazy stuff. It's not hard when we have the hp advantage. Crank it up to 125mph for a few mins and if there are corners coming up, it's even easier to lose them!

The main thing I think about now is whether my wife can also make the pass because I'm not leaving her back with an angry cager.

Rage… Hard to separate from the mass of stupidity, distracted driving, drunk driving, etc. None have blatantly got out of their vehicle.

One comical instance I recall occurred when I was driving a 1968 F100 straight 6 3 speed and I was just putting along - someone in rush juuust had to pass in the turn lane, just before the downtown bottleneck; & yup, at the very first traffic light they got stuck 3 deep, so as the light turned green, I managed to keep putting along & not get stopped, but I did exchange a glance & a wave!

Never, but there’s now a lot of entitled peoples out there now days. They think they have the right of way, or think they can squeeze in because of course, they are more important than us mortals. Just too funny at times!

Yes there are, and where do these people come from? Years of entitlement coupled with a lack of respect? But they sure get cut down to size when they hear, "Press hard, please, there's three copies", or "Turn around, please, and put your hands behind your back."

Yes, a few years ago, my sweetheart and I were riding in bumper-to-bumper traffic on the Belt Pkwy in Brooklyn, NY when a space opened in front of me, a pick-up just a bit behind me on the right, sped up and cut me off without signaling to gain a car length. I had to apply my brakes sharply. I raised my hands in frustration and in that wondering manner why did you do that while shaking my head. I did not give him the middle finger salute. He maneuvered back to the right lane and when I drew next to him, he started screaming at me! He wanted me to exit the Pkwy and fight him. I'm 73 and he was in his early 30's. I said you want to get home and brag to your wife, children and friends that you beat up a 73 yr old grandfather who you cut off? He looked at me bewildered and then I said sure I'll follow you off. He exited, I kept on going, never saw him again.

Good thinking! Exit stage right ASAP. You never know what they could be pack'n to backup their play.
It was 2 o'clock in the morning coming home from work. I just wanted to be home. No traffic, no Highway Patrol, and No cell phone. I took the easiest way out. He had gotten in front of me, so I slowed down, and at the next exit, I waited until it looked like I was going to cruise past, then dived off at the last possible second. He was well past so he could do nothing. I went the back way home... safely.
