• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone tried this tire pressure system

I have the 360M3 system from doran. The metal stems that come with the kit did not fit the rims. All i know is Len had a he@@uva time getting metal stems to work.

The system works fine but isn't cheap.

Is there something more, that I need to know about this?

Looks like the precision might be +- a pound... so it's only good to warn you that you have a flat. The only way I've seen to get the air pressure in the front tires within factory specs of ± 0.25 psig is my Dual Fill.

I can only tell you what has been mentioned before on SL's. Since you are adding weight to the valve stem (probably not much) the manufacturer of this system recommends metal valve stems; on its website, it states that; the rubber valve stems will flex and weaken, supposedly.

The flexing of the rubber valve stem is the same reason that any extension elbow placed on the rear wheel be removed when not checking the tire pressure.

Thanks!

I'll weigh them, to see how much additional "poundage", they're adding to the bike... :D

Will post the results too!

I have one on my spyder and love it. It's the same thing, same company just a different version and display. I had it on my GL1800 and trailer, it came with 4 sensors, two for the wing and two for the trailer. I took it off the wing when I sold it and put on the Spyder. Not had any issues with the stems. I have been asking the manufacture to do a RT and trailer version with 5 sensors.

Handy just to keep an eye on the pressures, the front are easy to check of course but the rear is a pain in the butt. This makes it really simple and you can set it up to vibrate if the pressure gets to low or the tires too hot.

this is the one I purchased, about 5 years back now.

Eeekk.. sensors are held on by set screws which is good, but that would be a bigger pain to deal with when the Kendas need air every couple of weeks anyway.

You would need to be sure to keep a couple of the proper size Allen wrenches with you on the road too in case you need to fill on the go.

JT's dual fill works great . . . makes checking and adjusting air pressure a lot quicker, since both front tires get done at the same time . . . and are always exactly the same pressure!
