• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone put a cargo carrier on their trailer hitch?

This increases the unsprung weight of the rear tire of you bike and will adversely affect handling. Not recommended for performance oriented riders.

On Goldwings the hitch is part of the sprung assembly so the road compliance of the wheel is not effected.
I have often ridden with the rack on mine. Once I get to my hotel or cabin, I unload the bag (which only contains clothes), and leave the rack on the bike. It does not affect the handling at all on the bike. Now, I've added a Givi box on a rack at the rear of my 2016 F3 Limited, and I can definitely tell it is there when cornering. It will also be coming off once we check into a room.
