• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone installed a vent in their windshield?

I have a Goldwing vent and am wondering if it would be useful installed in my windshield. Its the kind that you can open and close. Pretty sure the curvature would work; just not sure its needed.

Apprec feedback from anyone that has put a vent in theirs.

I know that quite a few folks have cut holes, and several have put louvres in them; it's just that the names are lost... :opps:

Working on our SPYDERFEST order and we have several of these new vented windshields on order, doing free installs and of coarse SPYDERFEST special like always.

If you model is the RT

You could consider the New BRP Vented Windshield See page 44 of the current 2013 accessories catalog

http://www.brp.com/Flipbooks/Can-Am-Spyder-Catalog.aspx?Culture=en-us

My understanding is this will fit models prior to 2013

Suggest you put Vented Windshield in the Search box you will find several threads there which may help

I put the BRP vented windshield on my 2012 RT and I fit perfectly. It looks good and when the weather improves, I will get to try it. I also installed the adjustable vents. Both should be good improvements.
