There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It appears you need the MegaTech license in order to use this program to disable DESS on your Spyder. In looking at the license options, it appears the 1 month included MegaTech license option is no longer being offered. The minimum license you can get is the 1 year license which will add a few extra hundred dollars to the cost.Tht's going to put this way out of my range just to disable DESS.

So did you find someone to disable your dess? I'm from Everett 27 mile north of Seattle.
According to Powersports email to me. My order is coming this May 18. If anyone has a step by step procedure how to disable the Dess on Buds. Please let me know... After that I could help lotsa Spyder owner in the Pacific Northwest If they want to. My Megatech License will be 1 year. Im from Seattle area...

For your sake, I'm glad you pulled the trigger on getting the BUDS system. The peace of mind alone will be well worth the price of admission. Please keep me advised on your progress as I may end up hitting you up. I'll be following this thread closely.

Yup, It arrived yesterday night and I installed it on my windows laptop. Today I disabled that dreaded DESS. No more gripes and complaints from me. I'm now free from the DESS trouble..
