• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anybody seen this?

Let's see..!!

they have been around here from time to time. Expensive kit and you still need the wing. Lacks many of the safety features on the spyders but cool looking but have yet to see one running around...:dontknow:

Would be interesting to hear an update. There were some former SL people that were supposed to have a dealership going. Wonder what the current status is.

Interesting...

But since it lacks a dealer network, a full-vehicle warranty, and a fair amount of the monitoring systems, that keep us all on the road; I'll take a pass...

There is a SL who has one of these. He did have some issues, not sure if they got resolved. I did a lot of research on them and talked to as many people as I could who had some experience with them. Reggie being one of them.

In the end, i saw a video of one in a parking lot doing turns at VERY low speeds and lifting a wheel...That didn't sit to well with me...... BWTFDIK

Concept of the reliable wing with reverse trike factor with stability control would be a force IMO.

I have a problem with compay A (any M/C brand) and Company B (a conversion kit) = product C a trike of any kind. Conversion being the word.
I much prefer all the same company like a Spyder or some of the other "factory three wheelers.
Just my thoghts

There are a lot of conversions out there, they can't be that bad. But i somewhat agree which led me to the rewaco built as a trike from ground up. I do think more choices is best for everyone concerned, competition is good for better prices and better quality....in most cases:doorag:

There were actually two at SpyderQuest, did not have the opportunity to talk to the owners. Impressive at first glance, but any conversion will have warranty issues. Will Honda warranty them? Doubtful. Will the company overseas that does the conversion warranty them? Again, doubtful. IMHO, owners who buy these machines will be left twisting in the wind. Is the GW a solid, reliable bike? Sure, Honda has been building these for a long time, and while they have some issues, for the most part they are a very dependable, solid, and impressive machine. But, after a conversion, who knows? Would a Honda dealer work on it, and if so what part would they work on & what part would they not? Would an owner have to ship it overseas to the company that does the conversion to have service work done on the conversion? Only time will tell if this is a viable, dependable reverse trike that can be serviced exclusively in the US. Great looking bike, but I will stay with my admittedly flawed 2013 RT. Took a 200 mile trip in cool weather today, and the RT performed flawlessly. Hot weather is another can of worms, but early spring & fall weather is what my RT loves most of all.

Conversion kits can be problematic.
Where do you get it serviced ?
To be honest.....BRP seems to have hit a home run with the 2014.
I'm very happy with mine.

My somewhat limited understanding is that none of the following are included: VSS, ABS, DPS, Vehicle Warning System, Dealer Network, Warranties enforceable in USA, Heated Grips, Cruise Control, Linked Brakes.

um....to me...I think the Can Am is a much better option.

there are 3-4 dealers now selling these kits....One in springfield Mo, one or 2 in florida.....
If the donor bike had ABS, the kit will also. Same with heated grips, cruise etc.

There is no VSS.

I will give you all a report....

So far there are 2 manufactures of this type of conversions that are slated to be at the SENA Show in Las Vegas,
I will be there as always and have info and pictures to post here for all to see. Dave
