• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hard steering 2015 STL

Wife and I took a 700 mile round trip this weekend, her to walk and me to motorcycle crew the Santa Barbara Avon Breast cancer walk. The Spyder did great at sustained 80 and 85 mph with one exception...very hard steering. On the way down the tires were way under inflated but on the way back both were at a even 20 psi. MUCH better on the way back but even in long sweepers at high speed it was still hard enough to really kill my arms and shoulders. No didn't have a death grip, been riding these a while. Does this sound like something I'm gonna need to live with when heavily loaded and higher speeds? Would a Baharon bar help this? Ann and Joe did a laser a line so I know that's on the money. Comments and thoughts appreciated.

DPS

There is no way even with very low PSI you should encounter hard steering ....At highway speeds - there is no power boost from the DPS .... So I suggest you head to the dealer and have them check this out ...... while you are there see if they will let you take another ST for a spin to see if there is a difference .........jmho..... That's the way my RT is and one of the reasons it's for sale. I have neck and upper back issues and the steering effort makes me really hurt by the end of the day. The wing was much kinder to my back.

Bummer...

I would have to agree with Mike in having the DPS checked out. The low tire pressure will make it a bit heavy but should not present a problem for you...:gaah:

Cant relate to it
Of couse a two wheeler a bit less stress in curves but I have learned to relax, push the bar in need of pushing,
Learn to go in a bit slower and come out cranking it
Much diff than two wheels but I personally love now

I love R&R put another dime in the jukebox baby!

steering effort

My 2013 STS can easily steer one handed at highway speed.
I run 16.5 psi in the front.
Get the DPS checked.
