• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Right there with ya! Happy 4th to everyone and let's all remember what makes this country great...and work to keep it that way!

Happy 4th everyone.

The weather here has been amazing the last few days, actually doesn't feel like summer at all anymore. We are enjoying it while we can.

This particular 4th of July feels a bit different than the past ones.

Our first Independence Day with our daughter in the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.

I had the opportunity to serve as the Platoon Sergeant for a Warrior Transition Unit. For those not aware of this program, it was set up by the department of the Army to assist injured and ill Soldiers transition back to the force or to a productive and meaningful civilian life. I had the honor of working with some of the most impressive heros imaginable that left me forever humbled.

I want to take advantage of this forum, on this day, to thank each of them specifically for the price they paid to allow me to enjoy my life as I know it. Thanks guys.

:agree:My thanks to all who take time to honor our nation's birthday, and we in military service who help, and helped, keep it that way.
