• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

hanging helmet on spyder bike locks?

Yep, fits in the R/H side bag just as Scotty described. I could not get it to fit in the L/H side bag though.

:agree: Thanks for the link.
Another option is the PacSafe RetractaSafe retractable cable locks. They store easily, and you can make any size loop you want to extend your straps to the hook under the seat. You can even leave your helmet on the handlebars (I cover my GPS that way) and lock the helmet to the handlebars. Aerostitch sells a similar product. The longer version works for securering your riding gear, too (with a little scrunching of the fabric).

A group of people I ride with use handcuffs to lock on helmets or lock wheel of the bike or what ever. Just the fact that they are handcuffs people leave them alone.

helmet lock and cable

We ordered two motorcycle helmet lock and cables from J.C.Whitney, at $17.99 ea. and they work perfectly. We loop the cable through the D rings on our helmets, and hook the cable to the plastic tab under the seat, and the helmets rest on the passenger foot boards. To see what I am talking about go to J.C.Whitney.com and select the motorcycle catalog and then type in helmet lock in the search box. Hope this might help out some because we like to be able to use the Spyder storage for all the goodies we purchase on the road.
