• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Handy capeable

I know this question maybe a little early but figured i would ask because we spyderlovers can be pretty clever. Has anyone designed plans or already figured out how to strap a wheelchair to the new RT for our handicapeable riders. :chat:

I think the RT will be a little tougher to do than the RS. too much protruding from the RT. The only solution I see now is the rear mount via Racketdave , or carry it in a trailer.

I am rethinking my current chair holder setup to something different for my spyder.

Seems like having a 2" reciever hitch like what is available from MMG would work great for this - You can set up something similar to a reciever hitch bicycle carrier......

That seems like a good idea but will the ryder beable to reach it from the seat. :dontknow:

I had the same concerns.....that the luggage and the stepped seat could be a difficulty. Not much way to move about, reach, or adjust your position on the RT. Seeing what people have accomplished, though, where there's a will, there's a way, even if the RT is not as adaptable as the GS/RS.

MMG welded/bolted a carrier along the left side of their hitch for me. I wheel up, jump onto the bike, turn sideways and fold up the wheelchair and slip it in the rack. With the RT, you'd have to extend the mount outward to clear the saddlebag.

I had to get the mirror extentions as the chair blocked the left mirror's view
