• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2011 RST SM5 is there a way to raise the handlebars about 4 inches to make it more contfortable

Yes there is. Welcome and glad you found the site for all things Spyder.

Heli-bars makes a great riser that is fully adjustable to height and angle of attack.

I am making the assumption from your post that you have a RS SM-5.

You might also consider an adjustable back rest from one of the site sponsors, smooth spyder. Ride safe and enjoy

I am pretty sure he meant to say he has a RTS not a RST.
Those Helibars won't work on a RTS.

Only solution I know of is to get the BRP Tri-axis handlebar option.

I went with the Helibar riser on top of the 1 inch BRP riser now up 5 in. and back about 5 inch
just right for a comfortable ride I am 6'2" and sit upright not bent over. also I like where it
relocates the key.
