• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was scanning E-bay for farkles yesterday, and found several listings for handlebar risers for the RT?? These looked like RS risers, but I have to ask - is there a riser for the RT?? It's a farkle I would snap up, were it true.

As far as i know there's nothing for the RT.
:dontknow:

If the picture shows something that looks like a triangular block, then it's for an RS. I have heard, though, that the 2012 RT LTD may have different handlebars that angle inward a little. A friend was given a 2012 LTD as a loaner and she said the handlebars felt much more comfortable than the one on her 2010 RT-S. I looked up the part numbers, compared them to the 2010-11, and they are different. Once I find someone who has a 2012 LTD, I will do some measuring to confirm.

I do not believe there is a handlbar riser set up for the RT at this time.

Maybe when they make more improvements, the handlbars will be adjustable so that more than the "universal motorcycle rider" can fit the machine comfortably.

You always have to be aware that almost anything can and often will be tried on EBay... I'd contact the seller and get them to confirm that it's for an RT...I'd save the message too just in case it didn't turn out to be the case!
Why not ask them and see what they say? Let us know what you find out.

My guess on the ebay thing. The seller probably got a hold of some riser blocks from who knows where. They don't have a clue about spyders--or--they are hoping people will buy the block anyway--regardless of what model they are for.

Just another entrepreneuer trying to make a buck. Caveat Emptor.
