• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Handle bar cup/drink holder ?

 I know that I'm probably the least-entitled person in here to complain..
But your avatar makes me want to curl up in a ball somewhere... :yikes:
Arachnophobia... it's a bitch!

I liked their bracket, but not the cup holder. Mine is from the Ram system, modified to attach to the bracket (very easy task). It allowed more flexibility in cup/bottle sizes, included a foam wrap for cans and frozen bottles of water, allows condensation/spills to run out, and adds fore/aft movement to minimize spills... it had a tab on the back to allow it to lock into place, for some installations, that needed to be removed, but didn't compromise the holder at all...

:agree:

Bought the Rivco as well, loved the perfect fit bracket with no clamp but did not like the cup holder part. Used the RAM gimble mount on the Rivco bracket and it works very well.

Hi there and :welcome: You will find quite a range of cup holders ranging from $10 toys r us version to $150 custom made, depending on your individual preference. There are a number of site sponsors that provide cup holders. Personally I have this one http://www.eduoinnovations.com/. A site sponsor, I really like it, very good quality and fitment.

  I have that one too, if you are going to get one go for the gold, our bikes are worth it

So who makes one for tri axis handlebars???????

Orange Spyder Man, that's a gorgeous Mexican Red Knee.

I second that, very satisfied. Attachments can also be added to it.

Another plus for this holder. I lost my rubber cup insert, contacted them and the next day I got an email that they would mail a new one out to me, no charge. I really appreciated it.

Thanks for the kind words Rob. We like our RT bracket too (and cup holder). Your bracket, #CA400, which is polished stainless steel, has been revised, and now is produced as black powder coated, per the requests of so many Spyder riders. All our best to you all the great forum members.

Issue with my Drink2Go

I did this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LM4OQMG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Took all of 5 minutes install and performed flawlessly for 600 miles last weekend. Plus, you can't beat the price.

I am about to install my Drink2Go (Spyder2Go) and holding it in place (without mounting it), it is angled downward and not near as straight as the one in the above.

I held the holder in place with the wrench it came with and turned the bar as far left as possible. The bottom of the holder (angled down) hit the side of my ride. :banghead:

I could just mount it and see if the angle turns straight up and down. I just don't see it logically happening.

Maybe loosening the other screws in the controls on the left side of the handle bars where the Spyder2Go mounts and rotate the control box/shifter paddle so the holder is straight....ehhh?? Would I need "blue" loctite on those as well or is rotating the controls a bad idea?

Has anyone come across this or have a suggestion?

I have that one mounted on a 2014 RT SM6. It mounts on the right handle bar, and is slightly tilted. It does not hit anything, and does sit up straight enough to not cause a problem. I have only used a 16.9 oz water bottle, but it works great for me. It will work with a 12oz can, and maybe a 22-16 oz cup, but not the big 32 oz cups. I wish it was adjustable, but other than that, it is perfect.
