• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I had a set of HeliBars on my 2009 GS/RS SE5 and they were great. Mine were 4in up and 1in back. If they would have fit my new 2013 RS SM5 I would have kept them. You can go to...

and see the effect different amounts have on how you sit.

THE RISER QUESTION ????

Both of my non- RT Spyders have them and they are great........Both are 4 1/2 in.........Don't even consider the kind that goes on the Stem under the handle bars, they are totally useless I know I have one .......You can check with our sponsors here on Spyderlovers. I think 4-5 sell different models of the same thing ....Prices range from $129 to about $500........or if you have an SE transmission you can get one for a Sno-mobile from DENNISKIRK.COM for $65 and that will work also ........I know because it's what I used before they even made risers back in 08.......They are made by RSI and are sized from 2 1/2 to 8 + inches .....PM me if you want to go the RSI route......Mike

We put 4" billet aluminum risers on our 09 RS SE 5 and last week on our 12 RS SE 5 both are from Custom Dynamics. We like the look and the relaxed ride. Good luck in whatever you choose.

My SpYders a 08 I went with heli risers, they are a pain too install and not cheap but you cant even tell they are there by looking at it, I didnt do it but watched the patient dude at work do it for me. I never can upload pics from my PC but can from my phone Ill see if they will work. Took b4 and after just too see what the difference really was... Doug
