• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A COMPANY OUT THERE THAT MAKES 'HAND GUARDS' FOR OUR SPYD3RS....?
the only thing that gets cold is the back of my hands, and i'm thinking that these HAND GUARDS may help by keeping the wind off my gloved hands...

in the FJR Sport Touring World, we purchased Suzuki VStrom 650's and bolted them on the control clamps...hopefully someone has purchased some universal set and installed them successfully...BarkBusters make some

Barkbuster Storm guards and BMW lookalike ones seem to work. Attaches via the bar ends, so you don't have to worry about trying to get them around the Spyder's handle bar cover or the controls modules.

I ordered a set of these:

We'll see if the expander bolt assembly will fit into the Spyder.

I'm partial to those chemical heating packets inserted in my winter gloves...cheap from WalMart in hunting/sporting goods department

We used to make our own out of 1 gallon milk jugs. Cut out a place for your hands and use plastic cable ties to hold them onto the bars. Looked hokey, but worked, and when it warmed up, you just throw them away.
