• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hand brakes

It works well. I've spent hours and hours of testing/adjusting/bleeding and every time I think I have it whipped I push down on the brake pedal during a practice emergency handbraking maneuver and there's always just a little more brake that the pedal provides above the handbrake. It's noticeable on the pedal and can be felt in additional deceleration. This is the second bike with an entirely different kit so if I got a faulty one, I got two of them.

As far as breaking effort.... . I can easily lock up the brakes on my ATV and my snowmobile with only my index finger. This thing requires whole hand with a healthy squeeze.

Don't believe me? Call ISCI. They understand what they have and they're straight honest people who will tell you exactly what you're getting. I have nothing but good things to say about them and their support is excellent. Their product is very well constructed and engineered and necessary for me to be able to ride a spyder.

I totally agree with you. There is no air in the brake line but I need a very good squeeze to get strong braking. Now it has been made & installed I don't use it a lot.

I don't need to believe you since I can ONLY use the hand brake to stop so I don't need to call anyone, I have No right leg at all. I use it to stop, slow down all the time. I went through the same thing, I had to adjust it many times but it works better then you state. You are also comparing what you do with your foot to your hands kinda hard to do. I lock up the brakes on this just as easily as I did on my CBR 929rr, Kaw Ninja's and all the other bikes that I have had. When I squeeze the hand brake the brake peddle is fully down (done when I am not on the bike) I guess the only thing I can say is don't use it.
