• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A few years ago, xpeschon started what has become an annual Halloween Run. Everyone is welcome to participate in the Halloween Run this year. This is a fun event and has grown a bit every year.

If you have never attended this event, here is how it works:
First off COSTUMES are encouraged. Last year all of us had on a costume, however, if you feel it is unsafe by all means PLEASE do not wear one, you are STILL welcome to participate in the ride.

Please pack along a lot of candy for passing out to the kids. We will be riding to a few places (see below) to pass out Halloween candy to children, young and old. This event garnishes a lot of support for, and interest in the motorcycling community. Best of all, the kids get a big kick out of it. So again I ask that you bring plenty of candy! It goes fast.

We will link up at xpeschons house (Address is 19965 Simmons Road, Waynesville (Hunters Point) at 2:00 PM on the 30th of October.
We will ride through Waynesville in our costumes, at a slow pace of course, and work our way to the front entrance of Wal-Mart (between the two entrance doors). Yes this is a no parking area but for the past 3 years they have never bothered us. We plan on being there for about 1/2 hour then proceed to Lowe’s main entrance for yet another 1/2 hour.
From Lowe’s we will ride back through Waynesville to Price Cutters. Yes right in front again for another 1/2 hours or so.
From Price Cutters we will visit a house that has in the past, been the most HIGHLY DECORATED house in the area for some pictures. This is actually a very cool looking display. It is undetermined yet whether or not she will decorate this year, as last year she wasnt sure. We can only hope.
Finally I am planning a Dinner after its all over this year. Im hoping we can mutually decide on a restaurant style sit down place. Im not sure how this will work. We will decide on a place as a group.
Also, it is kind of cool if you decorate your bike as well with some lights or sounds. I know mine will be.
Again here is the timeline:
Date: 30 October 2010
Location: 19965 Simmons road (Driveway)
Time: 2:00 PM
Stops: Wal-Mart, Lowes, Price Cutter, Decorated House and Possible Dinner afterward.

Please let me know via pm or telephone (528-0296) if you plan on attending for planning purposes only.

Ya know, more and more I am starting to hate my schedule at work!! :gaah: I have to work that weekend so I'm afraid I can't make it. Damn the luck!! :(

We had a ball last year, sure turns heads when you ride Spyders thru town in costume. I'll be there for sure.

No Bumble Bee Costume, CRAP!!! Is there some other costume in the Mix then or are you going with-out?? Not sure what I'm gonna do yet, I did dig out my Halloween stuff and going through it--Time will tell..

X-Joe

I have put in a request for a kitchen pass for the 30------its been approved HoooooRah
Now when the time gets closer I'll need a phone number so I can find Joe P's.
