• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hail for Wednesday at Spyderfest

We will be arriving sometime early afternoon tomorrow. With the weather forecast calling for severe thunderstorms and hail, is there any covered or safe places to hold up with Spyderdock when we arrive until the nasty weather blows through?

Bummer...

That doesn't only sound bad but painful ...:yikes:  it ain't so or the weather changes quick.....

I lost sleep last night thinking about "what if" we had a hail storm at spyderfest. what would I do to protect my spyder? I ran all kinds of scenarios over and over in my head. That is if I had enough warning to do anything about it.

There is a chance of severe weather on Saturday. I have a plan though if it got bad. I think we are in the clear for Wednesday though.

My wife, Bonnie, and I got caught on the four lane north of Denver many years ago. Hurts and noisy, but didn't hurt the bike, a Guzzi. But it was time for a coffee break. The hail was nickel sized. Might not have turned out as well if the stones were bigger though.

Another reason for wearing a helmet. Getting caught riding in a hail storm.

Some weather reports don't show any hail.

You can worry about the future, or enjoy the present...
