• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had the DPS update...

Now the bike won't track straight. It's a constant effort to keep it in the center of a lane. I tried a light grip, a tight grip. Every bump I hit especially in a curve, makes the bike jerk left and right. It is actually a bit scary and takes the fun out of riding. It used to be dead on and relaxing. Any thoughts please? Dave

Thanks for the replies. The tire pressures have been checked. I have rode it now several times and I'm taking it back to the dealer. It IS unstable, light touch or heavy, if you are in a curve and hit the slightest bump, it will go left or right enough to scare you. Doing 60 yesterday on a curve, I went over a road seam of a bridge segment and it changed lanes. Not good!

Is there a way to identify the new DPS unit from the original? I bought an unused 2009 that had been on their showroom floor and never serviced. The dealer assured me they did all updates and recalls prior to delivering it to me. But this thread has me wondering :dontknow: The handling characteristics of my Spyder seem fine, but I have no experience to compare it too ;) Hope everyone with this DPS problem gets them straightened out... be safe!

:f_spider: on!!

If your not sure,? Ask your dealer to run your VIN # That will tell if the recall was done.
