Question....did you have gap insurance? My dealer would not let me leave without it (he wasn't gonna budge), and I'm wondering if it mattered in the totaling out of your spyder.
Gap only covers if you owe more than what it is worth if it is totaled .. The gap will pay the difference from what the insurance company pays and the remainder owed to the bank. Just to get you back to zero owed . A no brainier if you are gonna make payments spread out over years .
Obviously you don't need gap if you put a big chunk of money down or get a short term loan which you would not end up being flipped in the bikes worth.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I didn't need to get it. But he was persistent, wouldn't let it go. Makes me wonder if there is a kickback to him for selling it.
