WOW so glad you came through it still rolling on three, did the others in your group miss the debris?
I was about 2 miles ahead of them at the time. I had pulled over and they went right by me... they thought I was just changing a shirt or jacket, etc.....
I guess this is one time it was good to not be in a group... although I was typically in the back of the group.. just prefer it that way... other than the HD guys don't ride fast at all.
I did the Million Dollar Highway from Durango to Ourey by myself on Friday specifically because they would be too damn slow... lol.
Local told me they have a corner on that ride they call "Harley Corner" .. because HD's go off it all the time... the local EMT's and wrecker service have their own road going down to where they land... and they say it's almost always a HD that wrecks there.....
Still deciding what to do... really want to tear her down and see what's up.. but it's too hot out. Not going to make it to Cowtown tonight.. but could tomorrow.... or I could bust out the 500 miles to get home tonight -- leave for home around midnight.
I'm sure Spyder will make it... just don't know what all I'll find later on... but sure would prefer Cowtown to do any work that I can't !
Just don't know how the tire and swingarm could be 'lower' on one side... but it sure does seem that way. I can now even sorta 'feel' the bike leans a bit to the left... doesn't veer to the left really-- just feels like I'm leaning a bit left.
Maybe the left shock got hit hard enough to bend the upper mount and thus that side of the bike sits 'lower' ?? Really will have to yank the trunk to see what the deal is..
Really shocked I didn't bend a rim.. but it's riding as smooth as ever.....
