There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. here in FT Wroth today.

Got to see Deb and Steve and many others from the North TX Sypder riders. It was Fun

I found that the 09 GS did not like all the idle time and running the flashers. I shut down to coast down a long hill to allow the unit to cool a bit. We wre rolling very slow. when I went to restart had no juice, all that idling below 1500 drain the battery.
Man was I thankful for the manual trans. FYI don't even think of popping the gear to start unless you are in 4th or 5th. 3rd try about 50 ft form the bottom and the Cop standing by his HD she rolled the wheel and fired. Must have had the Cop wondering what this fool was up to.

As I went by him I told him it was a HD in disguise

2 other gs s had there battery lights come on by the end also

I took it off the tender this am so I should have been charged good

Ft Worth's Veterans Day Parade

Angel...

Great meeting you and all the other Spyder Ryders of North Texas. 16 Spyders all together. Wonderful! The crowds really responded well to our showing and that meant a lot to me as a VET.

My RS did OK with the slow speed and flashers; however, I'm on the second battery since my Spyder was new (5/2008). First one lasted exactly two years. I figure a battery lasting two years with little activity is probably normal for any motorcycle. If mine lasts 'til Spring, I'll be happy...

Yes it was a great time, and the HD COP was not the only one wondering what you were doing. I was running flashers and fog lights, and my low battery light came on coming down the hill. I didn't turn it off, just pointed it into the wind, in the parking lot, so it would cool down and then rode to cowtown for great food. No problems from then on.

I thought we had a great turnout. Katie and I had a blast and lunch at Cowtown was great! Still, it made me worry also about battery problems when doing this sort of event. I kept telling Katie the whole time we were in the parade that I was worried about the battery. Thank goodness it was cool out or we would have had some of the Spyders overheat. I wouldn't sign up for a summer parade that's for sure. I like your new avatar Ken!
