• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had a bad morning at my local Can Am dealer in NE Florida, just a FYI.

Just a quick update.
I finally found the time in my schedule to take my Spyder into Jacksonville Powersports to have a new rear tire fitted.
While there they showed me once the wheel was off that the rear pads were heavily worn and ASKED if I wanted them replacing at the same time.
Which of course I did.
They also took the time to show and explain to my dumb self how to adjust the rear shock, apparently mine is the manual model with the valve under the seat, no onboard compressor.
Guess I need to buy an owners manual...lol
Overall they were the complete opposite of the experience I suffered at Ridenow.
I only rang them Tuesday afternoon, had it scheduled in for 1.30pm Wednesday and was out the door by 2.45pm same day.
Now to be fair they do have 10 year policy but they did also say it is at their discretion and I guess that might mean regular customers whose bikes they know might be shown a little more leniency.
All in all my Spyder dealer for now.

I would say, put them on speed dial and don't loose it!! You sound like you have a keeper there!

If Honda was to come out with a front wheel trike I would dump this can-am without blinking. With as much fun and joy that this brings me , I think a Honda would be more well thought out and put together a whole lot better. Unfortunately you would still be dealing with a lot of the same unscrupulous dealerships. :dontknow:

Well Yamaha does have this Frank-N-Stein creation.......:roflblack:
