• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Guy slaps motorcyclist for racing him. Here is what the rider had to say "Just for everyone to know. I was NOT trying to race him, and I know the video makes it seem so. But I just wanted to pass him since I noticed he kept staying right next to me. I accelerated a bit to pass him but slowed down when I noticed I was approaching speed limit as well the a yellow light.".

:lecturef_smilie: Never linger near the "LooneyBush"; some nut is just bound to drop out of it right onto you!

Note to self. If someone pulls in front of you and stops in the middle of the road infront of you and gets out of the car, dismount the bike ASAP so you can protect yourself.

Haven't heard of anything like that happening in AZ, but then again we did have the idiot that sent his nephew down the street with a fake RPG just to see how fast the police would react......

He's got the video. I'd go to the cops.

Here in NC, that's called assault. He would probably be looking down the barrel for sure.

Punk needs to come try that **** here in Texas, forget Texas, try that anywhere with me , and that piece of crap will be spitting bloody chicklets.

I don't know what that means but it scares the heck out of me!

i'm guessing that whole thing was staged. being that there were two bikers and only one car passenger,----i'm thinking he was one of them and they just wanted to post it and see how many hits they'd get on their video!

Something I have become aware of over the past few years 'in Claifornia'. Some people in cages, of all ages, can't stand it when a motorcycle is in front of them. If you put a mile of separation between them and yourself they will drive a hundred miles and hour to stop next to, or behind you, at the next stop light/sign. No idea why! Just know it to be true.

As for the video.

The squealing tires came from 'the car' not the motorcycle and the cager caught a break by slapping the right guy(right guy - meaning he made it back to his car standing up).

May be getting a little long in the tooth, but that wouldn't play well with me. :roflblack:

I had a similar incident happen. A SUV pulled in front of me and stopped. Got out and started yelling at me about my bright HID's. (They were adjusted properly). I pulled out and went around him--headed for the police station about 4 blocks away. He made a turn off a couple blocks later.

I try not to get involved in road rage things here--most people are carrying a firearm and most people will not hesitate to use it. Not even advisable to show anyone the #1 sign. Another sign of our times.

:agree: But I avoid Road Rage situations because you never know if the Nuts gonna slap you or shoot you in todays Wonderland!!:yikes:

The guy in the car is lucky he didn't get shot...I know many places where he would have. I've also seen many incredibly stupid people just like him.

As for the biker...he has a case for assault, I think. However, if it had been me I wouldn't have stayed there once the cager started to get out of the car...I simply would have taken off around him. If he had started to follow me, he would have ended up following me to the nearest police station.

YMMV.

I probably would have done the same thing. Lead him right to the nearest LEO encampment!
There's little satisfaction to be found in arguing with an idiot along the roadside. :gaah:
