The chances of that are about as good as you showing up on time somewhere. :roflblack:What happens in the case of a tie or multiple contestants with identical scores?

Did anyone notice the part about lodging? I've read that if you take a room (with a bed and shower) it doesn't cost you any points. But if you sleep next to your bike you get 50 points added to your score!
If you lose a point for every minute you are early or late, 50 points means you could be almost an hour off and still end up breaking even our gaining points.
I guess the hard core, I came to win guys will be sleeping next to their bikes all night.
Yes, that has been mentioned a few times in the thread. It is apparently considered part of the Guts portion of the Guts and Glory name. Good pickup on the fact it would help you out with getting closer to the appropriate time for each leg, and the fact if you slept out every night it could help you end with more points than you started with as well.
Hooligan tent:But with 11 check points (assuming the 11th won't have a sleep for points component) that is still 500 points you can earn from sleeping with your bike.
I must admit, I didn't take the time to read through all of the posts for this particular point.
But with 11 check points (assuming the 11th won't have a sleep for points component) that is still 500 points you can earn from sleeping with your bike. And it will save the promoters quite a bit of money in lodging fees too.
For the ones who go to win first and everything else 2nd, I suppose it will be a no brainer. For the rest of us it's something to consider.
Looks like you can now.I did try to registered into The Hoka Hey Challenge: no three wheeler allowed! nojoke
Motorcycles:
This year's event will be run in two divisions. Division 1 is open to aircooled American-made V-Twin motorcycles, and Division 2 will consist of all other makes and models. The different divisions will be departing separately and the motorcycles will be running against motorcycles within their division only.
Looks like you can now.
