• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It is a definite maybe. It seems to vary from Spyder to Spyder. The fuel system does have some ability to adjust. You'll have to try it to know for sure.

Here is a link to my crank case vent system. It isn't a true catch can as you never have to empty it or service it. You put it in-line and pretty much forget it. I like it for cost, simplicity, lack of maintenance and it puts clean oil back where it belongs, in the crank case.

Oh! And it keeps oil out of your air cleaner too! :roflblack:

Bajaron's oil catch can

Yeh I did wonder as the filters I used for my Raptor had to be oiled, are the K & Ns oiled when you buy them or would I have to buy filter oil and oil it before fitting?

All K&N filters are preoiled. You don't have to recharge them.

Ok decided to have my first sesh in the garage with the Spyder and stripped out the air box.Wasnt too much oil in there and the filter was fine so just a clean up and re fit.Checked the missing plug while I was in there :L looked fine but will be upgrading plugs and cables when I service it after the summers past. Thanks again to BajaRon for his input also to the lad that made the videos in the DIY section made the job so much easier and enjoyable :)
