We have a small group together riding from Memphis to Spyderfest. We will be leaving Wednesday at 9:00 am from the Cracker Barrel at I-40/I-55. It is off of Highway 191 in West Memphis. We will be traveling Highway 63 thru Jonesboro to Cuba. Please post here if you are interested.

Looking forward to meeting all of you.

So far we have 8 bikes meeting at Cracker Barrel on Wednesday morning. Can't seem to find anyone else heading that way at that time.

Sorry we are going to miss you guys... we will be in St. Louis from the 24th.:( But we can make the ride back!:2thumbs:

I live just on the other side of the river in downtown Memphis and I would love to join you for the ride to Cuba.

See you at the Cracker barrel.

Memphisdan you make bike number 10 in the group. This should be a nice ride. We can all get lost together. LOL I am looking at the map to see where we need to make stops. We will need to make 3-4 stops. I am figuring 6-7 hour drive. If anyone has driven this route, any suggestions as to where to stop?

The Florida Express maybe passing through Memphis quite early Wed AM.. Hopefully to be in Cuba by 11:00AM ready for sleep...:roflblack:

We are going to head up Highway 63. I am not sure if we are going to take 19 off of 63. We might have to decide that when we get to that point. I am looking for gas stops. I am looking forward to meeting all of you in Memphis for the ride to Cuba Wed morning.

the drive

Have driven from Pensacola to Springfield many time and by car that is a 5 hour drive. Going up 63 in arkansas will be nice after you got over the bridge in Black Rock. the middle of march it was one lane with lights controlling the traffic, maybe the repairs are over. Not sure just where you want to take off of 63, or if you want to take it to I-44 then east. May need to ask the Mo. gang about that. My parents live just outside of Springfield, so have been making that driven for over 28 years. With all the spyders together, the little towns alone the north end of 63 in arkansas will be fun, Please drive thru Hardy, there is a route around it but you will miss the McDonalds. The two lane road starts around Black Rock and the only rest area is after Black Rock the best I remember. Have a safe ride, sorry we are going to miss it, but daughter is graduating for college that weekend. Mother-in-law coming or I would be on my way there. Hope to see everyone in BRP owners event in Maggie Valley.

I am sorry but I have had a change of plans, I still plan on being in Cuba I just don't know when I will leave Memphis. Please don't wait or look for me at the Cracker Barel.

Have a fun safe trip and I will see you in Cuba.

No problem. Our large group is getting smaller. We are leaving Tuesday evening around 7:00. Hope to make it to memphis around 1:00am. If rain is to bad we might have to stop sooner. Anyway we will make it to cracker barrel for wed morning at 9:00. We will catch up to you at Spyderfest.
With all the rain does anyone know if highway 63 is still a good route from Memphis to Cuba ?
