• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Grips

I have always had an issue finding correct handgrips, for my Spyder. I have a bit of arthritis in my hands. When using standard grips, they tend to get pretty soar, on long rides, canyon runs, and always in city driving. I have been using just the cheap $6.00 foam grips, for the past 30,000 miles. As far as making my hands more comfortable, they worked pretty well.

However, I think I have found a better solution. I found some ergonomic Bicycle grips yesterday. Yes, I said bicycle grips.

Anyways, I put them on the Spyder this morning. I did a short little one hundred mile ride. These work really well. The ergonomic design, keeps your hands in a more relaxed position. I will have to see how long these last. But so far, I am happy with them.

The only draw back is the cost. I really had to fork out some big bucks for these with tax the total was $14.00

Here is a Picture, if you are curious. If you look close you will see that these grips are angled at the end. Therefore, the last 1/8" of the bar is actually exposed on the bottom.

Those look interesting!

I'm using grip puppies right now and pretty good. My GW trike had the ISO grips and they were really good but a few times higher than the $14 you spent. What are your grips called? I may try them next before going to risers etc.

I have had these on for two days. I could realy kick myself for not thinking of this sooner. Today, I did nothing but city driving. I have not had any discomfort at all. These are great. I am going to have to go get a second pair for when these wear out.

This is by far the best $14.00 I have spent on my Spyder
