• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Grip heaters

I'm thinking of putting the grip heaters on our '13 ST. Can the grips be removed easily or do I have to cut them off and replace with new ones?

I put the BRP grip heaters on my 2013 ST-S, it is a fairly easy task you do not cut off the old grips they slide right off because they are sleeved. Taking off the side panels and center so you can get to the plugs takes the longest, but here in ohio it made it well worth it when it gets cold

I never had heated grips before . . . after getting used to them on my Spyder, this winter :2thumbs:, I never want to NOT have heated grips again! nojoke

I use mine all the time, an your statement is so true! My wife has a heated steering wheel in her new Traverse and she loves it too...

I put them on last fall and directions are fairly easy to follow. The wiring harness where they actually plug in was a lot farther forward towards the frunk that I thought it would be. I broke a screw when taking apart the handlebars so take some care. I had to replace one of the handlebards because I wasn't careful.....but luckily only 25 bucks. They are really nice to have when you are finished.

And sorry the old grips just slide off. Actually an interesting set up once you take apart.

I just got a call from our dealer and our '14 ST-S has shipped from BRP, I expect to pick it up mid-February. I'll definitely want to get the grip heaters on there ASAP, can anyone confirm the part number and price for the BRP kit? Good to hear they are an easy install!

You can get the part number and cost from the BRP accessories site or off of ebay as that is where I bought my kit.

Has anyone found a place to download the .pdf version of the 2014 accessories catalog? On the BRP web site it appears web only with only the major categories such as exhaust and windshields. It's probably someplace obvious but I can't seem to find it. I have the 2013 catalog, the p/n is probably the same, but I'd like to have the 2014 catalog to see what else I might need (want?).
