My wife and I had a graduation party to attend today. I thought, what better way to test out my new Elka shocks than for us to hop on and take the 90 minute long twisty road to a 45 minute destination.
I can now testify that the Elkas are in fact EXACTLY as advertised. I was surprised at the rYde and handling. I'll post more in my mods post on the specs etc. The Elka install has been the best mod I have yet completed.
The neat thing about today was that I gave the graduation girl a short rYde on the Spyder (she loved it) when I got back, I had a line of about six young-uns wanting a rYde. Of course I obliged them and also took a couple of Moms on rYdes as well. Pointed one couple to Len at Cowtown, I hope they follow through!
