• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone have any GPS routes for riding the back roads?
I just started looking at places to take the back roads.
Eureka sprigs via back roads look interesting.
Can anyone share?

Thanks

Open for some interesting rides

I'll add on to this post, and ask if anyone has any interesting off the beaten path rides planned while in Missouri, and don't mind a tag along. I'd be interested in some sight seeing.

I'm looking forward to taking a ride down to Branson... Nobody said that it had to be the shortest way possible! :2thumbs:

THIS IS NICE RIDING

Towards Ark. down thru Mark Twain Forest .....taking Peel's ferry ......I have taken some interesting off-the-beaten- path ventures in the past and plan some more .....also some incredible " ridgeline riding " where you can see both sides of the mountain are sweet.....lots of " twisties "........small groups work best ....like 10.......Mike :bbq:

Eureka Springs

Buddy of mine spent a few days in Eureka Springs last year and hasn't stopped talking about it. Said it was a great stop and ride.

Blueknight's description was MO 125, cross the ferry, AR 125. I believe the cross road is 14 to take you back west.

Another great road is MO 19 that runs from just north of Mountain Home, AR, to Cuba, MO (the home of the first two Spyderfests). The down side is that it is about a 400 loop out of Springfield.

I haven't been on a bad road in the area; some are better than others. You do need to watch for gas!!!! Ask me how I know. There are no straight roads: a close gas station on the GPS my be too long to get there. Also, not all of the gas stations are open that may be on your GPS.

Happy Trails,
Wayne
