• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GPS Mounting option

Here is the way I mounted my GPS. It is the Nuvi665, but any Garmin that uses the motorcycle mount will work.
I only had to buy a couple of fender washers to do this.
I removed the "dummy" card, and bolted the mount to the underside of the dash. Clean and easy.
Sorry I didn't take pics along the way, but the finished pics show the general gist.

Nice work, have it where you don't have to drop your eyes much from the road to see it.:clap::bowdown:

Question for you - did you use the OEM electrical GPS harness? I really would like to do it but rerouting the wiring has me a bit concerned.

I have to admit the low OEM position makes it very easy to throw you coat over and hide the GPS without removing it and stowing it!
