There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. GPS mount options for RS-S

Oz Spyder

New member
Hi guys, I have a question for the Spyder community out there. I have the 2011 RS-S and would like to mount a GPS unit on the bike. My question is, what is the best option and how have others gone about this? Any photos and tips would be great!!

Thank you!

There are a number of approaches utilizing RAM mounts, for the RS. They can be mounted to the handlebars, screwed to the console or mounted atop the clutch master cylinder. I mounted Nancy's on the adjustment bolts for the aftermarket windshield.

GPS mount for RS-S

I got the BRP GPS mount as part of my purchase incentive. I had ro devise my own holder for the GPS unit I've owned for some time. The RAM mount system is cool and many GPS units have holders specific to the model. You can do a web search for RAM. Pictures of what I did are in one of my public albums in the gallery.

GPS

Next season I was giong to try out a armband case as a wrist mount for the iPhone I use as a GPS, radio etc.

Heli Bar and former ignition

In the same manner of this question, has anyone that has a riser that moves the ignition system and then used the former location as a possible GPS mount area for an RS? I am looking to install one and this made me go :hun: and ponder that option.

Just wondering, not attempting to Jack or derail this thread.
