• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just ordered a Garmin 660LM for my baby. A lot cheaper on Amazon than from the dealer. Wondering if anyone has the same model on their RT and if they have any photos of how they mounted theirs. I am racking my brain on how to route the power cables. :banghead:

Here's what you do..!!

Home page go to JT's machine shop. He has a bar for that. Best way to go.. there are others and hope they will post pictures. Mine is on an RS....

the JT bar is a must have

JT's dash bar is GREAT....used to have my GPS there...but since my iphone 'maps' app does a great job...don't use GPS anymore...But then I have on that bar besides my phone, SPOT tracker, camera and room for at least one other 'gadget'.

I actually have a cradle for the Zumo 660 in stock that I special ordered for a guy then he didn't want it...

This is my Zumo 550 mounted on top of the dash so I don't have to look down to see it.

It is a KC HiLites vinyl driving light cover for $10. There were plenty of websites that have them.

Power cables?

I just mounted a Zumo 660 on my 2014 RT-S. I took out the two gages and replaced the fuel gage with parts that came with my garmin and put volt meter in the other opening. I had to buy a Ram handle bar mount for $13.95. Took power from front battery. Leads are already with mount. Good luck.

I mounted mine on the dash. I used a ball with 2bolts and drilled into the top of the dash. I then separated the two pieces of the top dash and put nuts on the bolts. I cut a small notch in the seam where the two pieces come together and ran power to the battery. I have a small automotive relay where the temp gauge used to be and is activated by the power to light the gauges.
