• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone know if the GPS Support & Harness supplied by BRP supports any other Garmin Models? I am thinking it might work for both the Zumo 550 and 665 as well as the 660 that it is advertised to support. Would that be a valid assumption?

I have the 550....it's a completly different set up than the one that comes with the Spyder....it's 660 specific.

I believe it also works with the 665, but you need a different cable or something. Lamont posted about it a while back.

Thanks!

Thanks guys, I thought it might be the same, but this is what makes this Forum so GREAT. Looks like when I shop around for a a new GPS, it will have to be the 660 Zumo. :). Seems to be in around the $650 - $700 range. I know it will get a lot of use, so not too worried about getting my $$ worth. Just thought a 550 might be a bargain somewhere and if it fit...well it would have done the job too!
